The CSFN at World Nuclear Symposium 2026

The CSFN, represented by Maria Faury, attended World Nuclear Symposium 2026 in London. The event was held from 9 to 11 September at the Hilton London Metropole, organized by the World Nuclear Association. This 51st edition also marked the WNA's 25th anniversary.

The Symposium brought together leaders, policymakers, investors and industry players from around the world, including a French delegation of companies and institutional stakeholders. Discussions centered on project financing, supply chain structuring, and new technology partnerships.

The Symposium also marked a further step forward for the Declaration to Triple Nuclear Energy by 2050. During his opening keynote address, Faure Gnassingbé, President of the Council of Ministers of Togo, announced his country's accession. The number of signatory states now stands at 39. Togo's move confirms the momentum begun at the NEISA (Nuclear Energy Innovation Summit for Africa) summit in Kigali this past May. The country will host the next edition of the African summit in 2027.
