Axis 2: Enhancing the Attractiveness and Skills

The second axis aims to support the sector’s growth in capacity and competencies in order to meet its current and future challenges. The nuclear industry today represents around 220,000 jobs, and its revival requires 100,000 full‑time equivalent recruitments over the next ten years—illustrating the scale of the undertaking and the level of ambition the contract must address. This second axis is therefore structured around key issues such as skills development, training, available recruitment resources, attractiveness, and talent retention.
